Prada kicked up their advertising campaign with this hot ad.  It runs in the April 2007 issue of Bazaar.  Gorgeous bag!

Katharine McPhee even looks drop dead gorgeous underneath several layers of clothes!  She’s brilliantly using a colorful handbag to accent her look, too.  With the dark boots, navy jacket, dark top, and jeans (not to mention the beautiful dark tresses), it was a stroke of fashion genius to throw a dash of hot orange in the mix.  It’s unexpected, for one thing, and for another it echoes her warm, off-beat personality.

That, to me, is one of the most important things when buying a handbag - it should reflect its owner.  One of the things I love about Katharine McPhee’s style is that she dresses and accessorizes to match her mood.  She can be sophisticated and sexy for an evening on the town, then turn around the next day and be the fun-loving girl next door.

She doesn’t put on any airs - she seems to be as genuine and warm as her smile.

By the way, this is totally off-topic, but if you haven’t gotten this young lady’s cd, go grab one right away - it’s amazing!

I realize that this blog tries to keep its attention primarily on handbags, bracelets, gloves, and other items that go under the heading “Arm Candy,” but when the hottest top in the world asks to make an appearance, I CAN’T say no.

Beautiful Ashlee Simpson is learning a thing or two about the importance of really hot accessories from sister Jessica.

Jessica always has the trendiest, hottest, MUST HAVE bag on her arm - while sporting John Mayer on the other.  The past few times Ashlee has gone out, she has been accompanied by some pretty amazing bags, herself.

Here’s another Great look - and by Great, I mean knock dead gorgeous. I love this set as much as I did the first set, and that’s saying a great deal.  I swear, I’m running out of adjectives with this collection!  I love it when designers create fashions that people would actually wear - not just fashions that look hot on runways.  Chanel is the master of this very thing, which is why the fashion world is his kingdom.

I was doing one of my favorite things in the world today - shopping at Goody’s.  I saw some amazing purses that I fell in love with, but I couldn’t make up my mind! So I just left with my arm candy of the day (4 bracelets).  Sweet!  Times 4.

When I got home, I went to their website to study the three purses again, hoping I could finally make up my mind.  I mean, I’m sure I’ll eventually convince myself that I need them all, but I try to keep myself in check and only get one at a time.

Problem is, I get to the Handbags section of Goody’s.com and these little guys greeted me right off the bat, daring me not to fall immediately in love with them.

Of course I fell.  Of course it was a hard fall.  The grand total to choose from is now up to 8.  Actually, I think I’ll grab one of these pups first - I’m dying to see my 4 cats when they get a gander of the new addition.
