Here are some hot recent pics of one of my all-time favorite models, the ridiculously beautiful Tyra Banks.  Love the dress, the silver bag, and the shades…but most of all, I love the lady behind all of them.  She’s one of the few (precious few) celebrities that I actually respect. She has brains, beauty, guts, and a spirit that refuses to do anything but soar.

Pretty much love that.

Jennifer Lopez is one of my Style Icons, so I always pay a lot of attention to what she’s wearing and how she’s wearing it.  The girl is nothing but class.  The pictures in this post are from September 21, 2007 in London, England - JLo was doing what JLo does best…schooling the rest of the world on style.

This type of look is what I always refer to as casual glamour. She looks comfortable and approachable, yet at the same time she’s unmistakably glamorous and sophisticated. Like Katerine Hepburn before her, Jennifer Lopez is brilliant when it comes to working this look.

Every detail is gorgeous - from her makeup and hat to her jewelry and handbag.  The large hoop earrings go with the hat like they were sold together - and check out the breathtaking bracelets.

I love make-up as much as I do purses, jewelry and everything else “girly.”  Eyeshadow is one of my favorite makeup items to play around with….choosing a different color for different moods.  Lately, though, I’ve been going with Mauves and silvers almost exclusively.  They’re so romantic and…I dunno, lovely.
