I am completely mad about the Diane Von Furstenberg “Catwalk” Fashion Tote.  Completely!

It’s actually on sale now at Macy’s for half off the original price, so I’m not just tempted, I’m slapping plastic as soon as the last word in this post is spelled out.

The Diane Von Furstenberg “Catwalk” Fashion Tote is available in three colors:  Red (shown), black, and brown.  It’s a tough call, but I’m, personally, leaning toward red.  I have so many black purses and not nearly enough red ones.   I actually thought long and hard about the brown tote.  I have a lot of tans, off whites, and other earthy tones in my wardrobe, which would make it perfect.

Hmmm, now I’m not sure again!

An idea just struck me - if they’re on sale for half off, then I think I could convince myself that two would be a completly sound and reasonable idea.  I’m not sure I could convince my husband that it’s called ”smart shopping” - but I’m aleady convinced.

In the words of the Staples button, That was easy.

Merry Christmas!

I’m about to become one with my kitchen, so the computer and I will be estranged for a few days. I wanted to wish you the merriest of Christmases before heading off to the kitchen, though.

Enjoy every single moment with your family, remember you’re making memories that will last forever…not just for you, but for everyone you love as well. Smile and laugh till it hurts, eat till the cook blushes, and love everyone unconditionally. Treat each present as though it’s exactly what you’d always hoped for and live life like it was meant to be lived.

Most of all, be sure to thank God for the greatest Gift ever given and the sweetest Love ever shown!

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones - and I’ll see you on the 26th!

A lot of Top Model faithfuls have said that they were greatly bothered by this past season as well. Each agreed that the bullying of Jenah and Heather was anything but entertaining. As two different blog readers pointed out, the judges kept telling Jenah to smile more, lighten up, etc…but during the taping of a would-be Cover Girl commercial, when Jenah laughed and played around at the end (making the cutest commercial, imo), Tyra said she was making fun of the whole thing!

Something that everyone else is saying, also, is that all along it seemed that Saleisha was being set up as the winner….like the judges wanted her to win all along. With the new revelations by E Online (below) - I’d say the show has given itself a big black eye.

However, sharp-eyed fans soon dug up footage showing Saleisha walking the catwalk in an ANTM cycle-six fashion show, as well as appearing on the runway in an episode of The Tyra Banks Show.

Saleisha apparently had even more previous modeling work which should have excluded her from the show:

Viewers also found that Saleisha had appeared in a nationwide Wendy’s commercial that aired in 2006, seemingly in violation of an America’s Next Top Model eligibility rule that states would-be contestants “must not have previous experience as a model in a national campaign within the last five years (including, but not limited to, appearances on television and print advertisements).”

Most people are pretty outraged - I’m just really disappointed.  I’ve always loved this show so much, and now it seems like a set up.  It makes me wonder how “set up” the other seasons were.  Hopefully….there was an oversight, but the fact that Saleisha was on both Top Model AND The Tyra Show?  Come on.
