I’ve always liked Fashion Bug for their clothes, but I think they do an EVEN better job finding great looking handbags. Like I’ve said before on this blog (as well as others), what you pay for a purse doesn’t matter. All that matters is the purse - and if it’s a great purse, it’ll be a great purse whether it’s $24 or $240.

By the same token, if it’s a crummy purse, it’ll be a crummy purse whether it’s $240 or $24.

You just can’t judge fashion by its pricetag!

Okay, I’ll step down off of my soapbox long enough to talk about these beautiful clutches. Like I said, they’re from Fashion Bug.com - a fun place to shop and grab some really great deals. These Ruffled Satin Clutch bags with detachable wrist straps are 9″ x 6″ with a zip-top closure and an inside zip pocket.

I love the ruffles almost as much as the beautiful satin shimmer. They’re so sexy and girly!

They’re available in the colors shown, black or silver. At $18, I’d go with the third option….you know, the one that’s always best: Buy one of each.

I love the simplicity and strength of this Roberto Cavalli clutch.  It and the model carrying it were part of the hugely successful Fashion week in Milan.

I love the way she’s carrying the purse - with her fingers inside the strap, so we can see the beautiful details.  Smart girl.  Beautiful bag.

I don’t know if I’m more interested in this purse as a purse whore or an animal lover - part of me wants to buy it, the other part wants to name it.

This beautiful, fuzzy Prada bag made it’s appearance in Milan recently during the infamous Fashion Week.  I’ve been looking through hundreds of pictures for days, now and am awestruck by the number of really great bags this year. 

Something else that stands out to me is the fun footwear that’s hot right now.  Check out the knee highs and shoes to the left. Love them.  Having said that, this look just won’t be for everyone - but when the legs and the footwear are made for one another, it’s a glorious thing.  But when the wrong legs find themselves in the wrong footwear - catastrophe of the highest order….all the confidence and swagger in the world won’t save us from that. 

 Lesson?  They make full length mirrors for a reason.

The coat, I have to admit - I could do without.  But the rest - I’m totally on board with. Click the t-nail for the HQ version.

While they would be perfect to have on hand for a variety of occasions, I can’t help thinking that they exist for the sole purpose of prom nights and other formal events.  They’re all dressed up and looking so snazzy - it’d be a shame not to take them someplace extra nice.
