Keira Knightley  This Keira Knightley clipping is from the April 30, 2007 issue of OK! Magazine.  (Click to see the larger image - it’ll open in a new window.)

Her high-end, flossy tote reads, “I’m Not a Plastic Bag.”  It’s one of British Designer Anya Hindmarch’s edgy creations and I can’t wait for her stuff to hit the U.S.  I like the lady’s style!  Fortunately, I don’t have long to wait, as her collection rolls stateside in June.

You can wait it out, like me, or get ahead of the game by visiting http://www.anyahindmarch.com and http://www.wearewhatwedo.org.

I love it when fashion, such as handbags or tees, take it upon themselves to make a little statement about life, in general.  Whether it’s subtle or feels like a sledge hammer - I just love it when they make their own statement, literally.

Keira, herself, makes a lot of strong statements - with her fashion and style as well as her colorful personality.  She’s one of the celebrities who, in my opinion, wears their heart on their sleeve and in their style.  To see more of Keira’s sexy style, visit Keira Fans.Net.

Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker, who turns 42 this month - and is wearing it very well, thank you very much - has taken a lovely step into the world of fashion.

She will be designing her own collection of clothing, footwear and accessories.  The actress has teamed up with the New York-based chain Steve and Barry’s to produce a “high-quality clothing line that is affordable to the masses.”  The line, which is called “Bitten,” debuts nationwide on June 7th, and will be offered in a full range of sizes, from small to XXL. Each piece will reportedly be $20 and under.

Her character wore only high end fashions on the HBO hit,  Sex in the City, but Parker’s aim with this collection is to make beautiful and functional clothing and accessories that just about any fashionista can afford. In fact, Bitten’s motto is: “Fashion is not a luxury, it’s a right.”

That’s something we can all bite into.

Model wearing Custo Barcelona Spring 2007These totally bizarre runway images are from the Funkshion Miami Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2007 Show.  These are from the Custo Barcelona collection, and the hairstyles are from…well they may well be from Pebbles Flintsone.  Pebbles Flintstone on prescription meds - and lost of them.

The clothes and the bags (to the left and at the bottom) are working it all out, even if the hair leaves me (Flint)stone cold.

I absolutely love the colors and the energy of this collection.  My favorite designs are those that challenge the person who wears them to step it up and dare them to make it work.

This collection is nothing if not daring - you have to give them that.

Click any of the thumbnails below to see the picture larger and up close.  You’ll want to get a closer look at these, trust me.

Style.com has a hot top ten list you have to check out….not need to…have to.  Out of the 10, two are “Arm Candy” related.  One has to do with the sexy little designer bags we use to carry around our ipods, cells, mp3 players and other necessities.  The other one is dedicated to large - really large - bags, where we carry everything else - bottled water, money, mascara, lip gloss, our Starbucks card, our cat…..
