The Sak Janet Stripe Minis Flap Handbag, above, is from a website that’s completely new to me, Endless.com.  Ironically, the number of gorgeous handbags and shoes they have is…..you guessed it, endless.

With a funky, chunky, crocheted body and a rainbow-colored tassel, the Janet mini flap handbag from The Sak will tote your tiniest take-alongs in candy-sweet style. It also has built-in cell phone and card slot pockets to help you pare down to the vitals.

I don’t know about you, but I’m all about paring down the vitals in the summer.  The less I have to tote around, the better.  Float like a butterfly, that sort of thing.

I absolutely cannot get enough of the vintage Hollywood Era.  I collect memorabilia from the Golden Age of Hollywood, especially items featuring James Dean, Lucille Ball, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, and Rita Hayworth.

I have a unique black and white handbag that features very early Elvis images on one side and early Marilyn images on the other.  It gets compliments every time I carry it.  Because it’s mostly white, I tend to take it to only very special events - after all, I want it to stay mostly white!

I’m looking for more purses featuring these glamorous stars.  Marilyn, Elvis, Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, and my girl Lucy are pretty easy to find, but Rita and Ava are kind of tough.  By kind of tough, of course I mean freakin’ impossible!

They’re each very, very reasonably priced, so much so that you could literally start a great collection by grabbing up one or two at a time.  The one to the left, featuring Marilyn in a red one piece (the Marilyn Monroe Signature Product Marilyn Monroe Small Zip Top Bag M111 (Women’s) - Multicolored) is the first one I intend to add to my collection.  I love the images, the colors, and the fact that it features a cell phone pocket.  I’m all about giving the little guy a comfy ride.

It’s all in the details when it comes to hanbags, isn’t it?  Those of us who live, eat, breath, and sleep accessories know that the details are what separate a good handbag from a great handbag.  They’re also the telling factor(s) in letting the world know that you pay good money for your accessories.  Why?  Because you’re worth it, thank you very much!

Choose the Right Bag for Your Body

The Natural Tile Wedge Handbag from 6pm.com has to be the most unusual handbag I’ve seen in a long time. But, unlike alot of handbags, it’s uniqueness doesn’t come across as obnoxious. This handbag isn’t being different just for the sake of being different - always a turn off in fashion.

This absolutely gorgeous and memorable little handabg is a real head turner.  I was reading various reviews for this bag - and several commented that they always get compliments on it whenever they take it out on the town.

That’s one of my favorite things about a truly great handbag - it can start up a lot of conversations and you get to know people that you might not get a chance to, otherwise.  My favorite handbags in my own collection each have their own stories of people commetning on them.  Something that never fails to amaze me is the number of males that notice handbags!  I have a particular purse that always catches the male eye - it’s kind of large and colorful….they never fail to comment.

My daughter has a blue “hairy” purse that a cutie in his early twenties calls Cookie Monster every time he sees it.  I swear, he loves that purse!

I saw a sexy little purple satin clutch in my recent issue of Elle Accessories and tracked it down like a stalker.  Turns out it’s from Hollywould - one of the most cleverly-named Collections in the world.
