Michelle Obama

The very lovely Michelle Obama recently topped Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List.  I think she does a beautiful job of coming across as a very strong, professional woman (which she obviously is) while also appearing warm and approachable at the same time (which I also believe she is).

Her pearls are kind of becoming a signature style with her - they look gorgeous with this red dress. It’s one of my favorite Michelle Obama looks. The New York Times called them “gobstoppers,” but I think of them more as “showstoppers.”

While she wears a variety of designers including Azzedine Alaia and Isabel Toledo, Michelle Obama is also known for wearing a lot of off-the-rack clothing. Personally, that’s what I like most about her style. She makes EVERYTHING she wears chic and classy.

Vanity Fair made a more than fair choice. They made a great one.
