One thing’s for certain, it won’t be easy to knock Lovely off its spot. It’s been my favorite since it knocked Bora Bora down a spot. Have you tried Sarah Jessica Parker’s new perfume? Oddly enough, I don’t like it at all - after she hit such a smashing homer with Lovely, I was anxious to see what she came up with next…..then (after trying it) I was disappointed that she hadn’t allowed Lovely to simply be an only child. I’ve been a Loyal-with-a-capital-L fan and customer of AVON products for two forevers….well, two forevers going on three. The only drawback was having to find a new rep whenever we moved, or trying to hang on to one once we found one. But since AVON opened up such an amazing online store, I no longer have the rep headache. They’re available to me 24/7 and I get my goodies SO much faster! If Avon were sold in stores, it would fast become the top selling make-up and skin care retailer in the country. The stuff is THAT good. Everyone knows about their amazing perfumes and colognes, their Skin So Soft line, and their infamous bubble bath (I’d love to be in a tub filled with the pink stuff right now!)…but most people don’t realize that their ANEW skin care line is recommened by the most expert of the experts in skin care. It’s off the charts - giving you glowing skin and a more youthful appearance almost immediately. At least that was my experience - as well as countless others who’ve said the same thing. Thier make-up is nothing short of spectacular, too. I’m not sure how they swing it, but their eyeshadow, lipsticks, foundation, and blush all stay on longer than the store brands. I was asked recently what my favorite perfume was. Since it changes (almost weekly!), I had to say, “At the moment…..” There are SO MANY amazing fragrances on the market, picking just one would be like picking just one favorite dessert, which I can’t do either. I tend to wear perfume to match what I’m wearing or how I’m feeling. For example, if I’m going to the park to walk or play tennis, I’ll spray on something kind of kicky like Charlie or Exclamation. Other times, I’ll grab Lovely (shown), by Sarah Jessica Parker or one of JLo’s killer fragrances. I got an e-mail from a girl who was getting married soon. She was asking about white satin clutches and gloves. (She’s going to be such a knock-out, her groom will pass out!) I asked her what perfume she was going to wear and she said the one that started it all: How perfectly Lovely

I know I’ve seen a watch just like this on JLo before, I just can’t find the picture in my files. She wore a Grecian-type dress with this watch, if memory serves as well as I think it does. The spectacular Sabina sunglasses would complete the perfect ONE - TWO punch. I’m usually not that into sunglasses…I save my fashion passion for handbags, shoes, jewelry, and, clothes - but these pretty much blow me away. They could convert me all by themselves.

She keeps churning out the best, one after the other. I don’t know how she does it - She’s as brilliant as she is gorgeous, I guess.
Although they’re birthstone colors, I see absolutely nothing wrong with combining them to make a gorgeous statement like the model in the picture. Especially since they’re priced at 2 for $20! AVON jewelry lasts forever - I have pieces that my mother got, like 100 years ago. They simply do no tear up, change colors or run away from home.
I love Bath and Body Works - especially the Japanese Cherry Blossom scent - but it seems to me that AVON lasts even longer. I’m not sure why, to be honest, but AVON will last two forevers - even though I use it just as often as the other brands. I think each product comes with little fairies that refill the bottle each night. Much appreciated, little bottle-filling fairies, much appreciated. |
