My current favorite perfume is Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker.  I say current because my favorite perfume tends to change along with my current favorite song, current favorite restaurant, current favorite tv show, etc.   At the moment, Lovely, “Pocketfull of Sunshine,” Tokyo’s, and Survivor are on top of the heap.  Next week, O’Charley’s may regain it’s top position and American Idol may send the Survivor’s tumbling.

One thing’s for certain, it won’t be easy to knock Lovely off its spot.  It’s been my favorite since it knocked Bora Bora down a spot.   Have you tried Sarah Jessica Parker’s new perfume?  Oddly enough, I don’t like it at all - after she hit such a smashing homer with Lovely, I was anxious to see what she came up with next…..then (after trying it) I was disappointed that she hadn’t allowed Lovely to simply be an only child.

As an only child, myself, I guarantee there’s a lot to be said for the honor.

I was asked recently what my favorite perfume was.  Since it changes (almost weekly!), I had to say, “At the moment…..”

There are SO MANY amazing fragrances on the market, picking just one would be like picking just one favorite dessert, which I can’t do either.

I tend to wear perfume to match what I’m wearing or how I’m feeling.  For example, if I’m going to the park to walk or play tennis, I’ll spray on something kind of kicky like Charlie or Exclamation.  Other times, I’ll grab Lovely (shown), by Sarah Jessica Parker or one of JLo’s killer fragrances.

I got an e-mail from a girl who was getting married soon.  She was asking about white satin clutches and gloves.  (She’s going to be such a knock-out, her groom will pass out!)  I asked her what perfume she was going to wear and she said the one that started it all: 
Lovely.  Apparently, she walked by him in the mall and he fell for her and her perfume - it’s what started the conversation that led to dates that led to her finding the perfect clutch and gloves for an October wedding!
